Pioneer CDJ1000mk3 Lowdown: Great features and an industry standard piece of equipment no respectable cdj can be without.
Features: MP3/CDR reading single player unit. Hot Cues, looping & time stretching are just some of the best tools on this machine. With beat looping & sampling in its 4 bank memory, this really is the best on the market to date.
With full MP3 support including VBR files, intelligent features, such as the direct folder search button, allow DJs to quickly access files within folders on the disc for intuitive, fast cueing. A total wide tempo range (+70% to –100%) also gives greater control than many competitor models.
Overall: Whilst being one of the best looking machines on the market, this is also still the cdj of choice from pro club level to the aspiring amateur. Its design and usability, functionality & 24bit chipset makes this still the machine to beat in terms of performance & capabilities!

Sennheiser HD25 Headphones Lowdown: An infamous all-rounder headphone used by DJ's and the TV/Radio Industry from the world renowned German company.
Features: The split headband is a revelation, allowing you to adjust these cans comfortably to your headshape. The sound provided is 70 Ohms nominal impedance for universal compatibility and these are a closed-back purpose-designed, professional monitoring headphone offering high attenuation of background noise. Capable of handling very high sound pressure levels and of extremely robust construction.
Overall: The design is a classic and paired with user replaceable parts ie the earcups, pads & leads buying a pair of these is an investment. The sound quality and clarity on offer here is up there with the best of them. At their price these headphones are a true dj essential!

Features: It has a tailored vocal response for a sound which is a world standard for singing or speech. A highly effective, built-in spherical
filter minimizes wind and breath "pop" noise. A cardioid pickup pattern isolates the main sound source while minimizing unwanted background noise.
Overall: If you look closely at tv shows like XFactor & any indie band set up this mic will be the choice of many a world star - Its performance at picking out every last drop of the human voice is staggering, so whether you are a pro singer, mc or karaoke artist this should be at the top of your shopping list!

Technics SL1210MK5 Turntable Lowdown: Technics SL series turntables have become legendary with over 3 million sets being produced and used by DJs and clubs the world over.
Features: All SL models feature the undisputedly accurate, reliable and durable Quartz Direct Drive Motor, with Aluminium Diecast cabinets and heavy rubber base for vibration damping.he same dependable construction as the famous and record selling SL1210MK2 with the addition of 0.6g Anti Skate (0.3g on the SL1210MK2), Adjustable Brake Speed accessed from just beneath the platter, continuous pitch shift with a reset control for 100% precision and finished off with a Long Life White LED Stylus Light.
Overall: Well here is a true legend that is still as popular as ever with vinyl dj's the world over. Sadly everyone predicts these are now a thing of the past but we know there are a legion of people who still want to play vinyl so long live the DJ Deck legend!!

Features: With Direct drive motorised platter with 2.5 kg-cm torque and full MP3 playback and file search support. 33/45 rpm modes, Built-in FX, Brake, Reverse and Dump platter modes plus this also has the handy Hot Starts & Sampler facilities.
Overall: One of my favourite cd players on the market. Denon have a pedigree in making bomb proof kit that is also designed with sound quality and user friendliness in mind...We like the spinning plateer giving you that 'hands on' feeling which is nice if you are a vinyl dj converting to digital music spinning.

KRK RP8 G2 Active Studio Monitors Lowdown: ROKIT Powered Monitors feature several of the key design elements found in KRK’s premium models, many of which have become the “studio standard” for the world’s finest engineers, producers and musicians.
Features: All KRK Rokit Powered Series monitors feature a proprietary signature yellow woofer made of a woven glass aramid composite that delivers a tight low-end response and a soft dome tweeter for natural sounding highs. The drivers are electronically crossed over and are bi-amped for increased efficiency. All of this is housed in an attractive cabinet with radiused corners that reduce edge diffraction resulting in better audio imaging.
Overall: With Inputs XLR (3-pin), RCA & 1/4" TRS - 10k Ohm and Balanced / Unbalanced Amplification rated at 140 Watt per channel, these monitors are the best on the market in their price range. Our review pair shook our shop floor and fittings with tight controlled bass & vocal clarity in the midrange. Bags of power for the home cinema, dj studio or recording studio so highly recommended and our speaker of choice!

Pioneer DJM700 DJ Mixer Lowdown: Delivering breathtaking scope for creativity, consummate clarity and a world first in terms of its Effect Frequency Filter, the new DJM-700 is dramatically different.
Features: The 4-channel mixer inherits the sound quality of the DJM-800 and DJM-1000, it also includes some key features including MIDI connectivity, 49 assignables, cutting edge digital effects and a filter on pre-out so you can filter the effects.
Boasting 32-bit DSP [Digital Signal Processing] , 13 beat effects and enhanced roll sampler in what is an extremely familiar format for DJs, this new kit on the block is definitely in a class of its own .
Overall: Pioneer have lead the way in terms of dj kit & functions for over 8 years now and this has seriously raised the bar in terms of dj mixers and what they can do! This is quite simply a stunning piece of kit at the heart of a good set up. The sound quality, fader smoothness & effects make this a winner [and it looks lush in silver too]

Kam KCA1200 Power Amplifier Lowdown: Great value power amplifiers from this UK Brand. Kam is renowned for seriously good kit if you are on a budget and this powerhouse is no exception!
Features: With a vented front panel with fan cooling and a thermal protection relay this is designed to run at max power for a while.
Inputs include Balanced XLR audio, Unbalanced jack audio inputs, Line level RCA phono inputs, Speakon and Binding Post speaker outputs Bridge mode operation. Weighing in at 10kg and producing 2 x 350W RMS @ 4 Ohms, this amp is asteal at the price producing a rich warm sound with added punch in the top end.
Overall: At just £175 this powerful party amp will do the business for many mobile, clubs & soundsystems! A robust well made piece of kit that will give great service to any end-user.

Slappa CD360 Cd Case Lowdown: This product has become one of the most successful brands on the dj market. Largely duw to this case which is our biggest seeling cd carrycase..
Features: Holds 360 Cd's comfortably when you double the cd's up. Build quality is second to none with durable zip & the casing is sublime - great to touch and looks great under the arm too! Has proven to be indispensible to many of our customers who work clubs, radio and tour a lot.
Overall: A great cd wallet for the working dj and music lover - one gripe would be no shoulder carry strap to help your arms out, but still very carryable and desirable when out and about!

UDG Trolley Bag Set [vinyl] Lowdown: A DJ Bag classic that has been popular for many years. The trolley design remains the benchmark for any other bag company.
Features: The trolley bag base has inbuilt wheels and retracting handle for ease of use and transportation. The bag itself is made from a tough material & the zips are of the highest quality too. The pockets are big enough for any dj's stuff & the protection to your music from the outside world is very adequate indeed. Holding over 110 vinyl in all including the top bag [which can be separated from the lower trolley] this is an essential purchase for any working dj.
Overall: This is again one of our biggest sellers continually instore & online. The reputation of this product precedes itself so any DJ looking for a dj bag option always goes for this UDG set. The finish, the lockable cases, & their relatively lightweight material make these still the best DJ bag combination on the market today!
