  • Buying from Us

    Our system will send you a confirmation email following an order placed. At this point we have only confirmed the receipt of your order, this does not mean we have entered into any contractual obligations. A contract will be in force once we are happy with all aspects of security regarding every order, and also we are only human so for whatever reason if an error has been made on an item's pricing, or we have under-sold goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular item. Should there be a pricing error, we will contact you to ensure that the price is acceptable before proceeding.
  • We reserve the right to hold any order for security checks and we will ask that additional security is provided. This could be a passport, house utility bill etc which should be e-mailed to us before any goods are dispatched. We reserve the right to cancel any order if this information is not sufficient or has not met our strict security policy..
  • Prices are displayed including VAT at 15% and is charged to all customers buying within the European Union (EU).
  • For countries outside the EU, we discount the total cost by 15% (not applicable to postage & packing)

    We also accept postal orders [cleared immediately] and bank transfers.

    Delivery Information

    We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 1.00pm on the same day. Orders may be subject to delay due to stock shortage or awaiting goods from suppliers. We will notify you by e-mail of the delay expected should this situation arise.

    Please note that large orders/bulkier items to some overseas customers may incur extra charges due to high courier location costs. We will notify you by e-mail if we cannot send your order at the same price as quoted online.

    Receiving Deliveries

    We advise you to ensure somebody be present at the delivery address when you expect your items since all items require a signature upon delivery.
  • We do not accept any responsibility if the courier/postal service do not deliver on time for whatever reason.
  • UNDELIVERED ITEMS :
  • If your order is returned to us UNDELIVERED / NOT COLLECTED you will be held responsible and charged for all re-shipping costs.

  • Missing Orders

    Parcels do sometimes go missing but dont panic, our customer support is waiting to help. We send a "confirmation of dispatch" e-mail with every order when it's on its way to you. In this e-mail is a tracking reference & a link to the relevant courier/postal service tracking facility. Please try this service first before contacting us. If you have no luck there, then get in touch with us, via the options below, so we can find out what is happening for you.

  • UK Customers: We cannot investigate lost or missing parcels until 10 working days have elapsed.
  • Overseas Customers: We cannot investigate lost or missing parcels until 28 days have elapsed.


  • For parcel loss/theft or missing claims we will only resend or refund the cost of the order once the maximum delivery times stated above have passed and we have been able to either locate and recover goods or confirm compensation claims from our couriers in all other circumstances.


    Returns

    Claims for non delivery, missing items or damage to goods in transit must be made as soon as possible and please do not return faulty items to us without contacting us first.
    If you receive the wrong item or it arrives damaged we will recover the goods by courier & we will then send replacements as required (see exceptions below)

    The following legal conditions apply to consumers as defined in the Consumer Protection Act - Distance Selling Regulations 2000. The customer shall, subject to the terms set out in this section, have the right to cancel an order within 7 working days from the date of delivery provided that he/she gives written notice of such cancellation.

  • If a customer wishes to cancel an order, UDM Ltd shall, in line with DSR, refund any payment made by the customer within 30 days from the day on which he/she gave notice of cancellation.

  • You will not be entitled to a full refund if you the customer do not take reasonable care, use the goods or misuse/drop or mishandle the goods either prior to cancellation of the order or, after cancellation has been requested.

  • If due care of the goods has not been taken whilst in the customers possession we will deem these as 'Used with unreasonable care' if such Goods are not kept packed in their original boxes, with all accessories, manuals and cables and the internal or external packaging is defaced or damaged in any way; or if the goods are marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they were sold.

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted items, or will be responsible for the direct cost of our collection of such items.

  • We reserve the right not to accept returns of faulty or un-wanted items if the goods have been deemed by us as misused, damaged to inadequate return packaging, or damaged by you the customer once opened.

  • Warranties

    UDM LTD offers a standard 12 month Manufacturers Warranty on all Electrical Goods. If a warranty claim is made within 7 days we will offer a replacement item immediately, where possible and recover the goods ourselves. After 28 days have elapsed all other Warranty repair claims will be processed via the appropriate Manufacturer (subject to their approval - If the fault is deemed a 'Non Warranty' repair we will inform you of any costs before any repair work is undertaken)

    In order to investigate a fault claim after 28 days have elapsed we will require you to send the item back to us for inspection at your own expense. Please ensure the item is boxed in the original packaging and insured. We do not accept liability for any goods that are not adeqately packaged or insured whilst being returned to us. Once the item has been received we will send the item to be repaired and return the item to you. Exceptions:
    Mixer Faders, Crossfaders, Cartridges and Stylus, Blown Speaker Cones, Software, Fluids.

    LIABILITY : UDM LTD accepts no responsibility for fraudulent credit card transactions that may occur as a result of credit card details being placed on the internet.

    YOUR ORDER : We make every effort to ensure the goods we supply are of the highest quality, reach you in original/good condition, and are delivered promptly as stated on our website.

    PURCHASING FROM US : By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the goods and accept that you have entered into a contract with us and have agreed to our terms and conditions as stated on this page. You also agree to allowing UDM ltd to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying said goods (including passing your personal details onto couriers & other subcontractors).

    Personal details can be removed from our database by written request. If you have submitted your email address to our email marketing system you may remove your details by sending an e-mail to sales@udmdjstore.co.uk stating "Remove me from your list" in the subject heading . No property or title of the goods shall pass from udm ltd to the customer until payment has been received in full.

    AVAILABILITY OF GOODS: All orders and special offers are subject to availability. We stock over 6000 items and it is very difficult to keep every item in stock at all times. We will always inform you if an item is not in stock at the time when you place your order.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE: If you are not happy with your order or the service you have received you may contact our customer services department by calling on 020 8366 5422 or e-mailing us. We promise to reply promptly and solve any problems you may have subject to UK law.

    Please remember all orders are subject to availability. E&OE. Our terms & conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.

    IMPORT DUTY & TAXES : It is your responsibility as the customer to pay all applicable customs fees and taxes levied for your country. If you refuse to pay these charges then your order may be abandoned and you will lose your goods as well as your money. ( UDM Ltd is not liable for any loss).These taxes are only applicable for non UK & non European union countries.

    DISCLAIMER: We may refuse to take an order if, in the circumstances, we feel you have given us false or mis-leading information which could/will be deemed as a commercial threat to udm ltd. We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time without prior notification.
    We do not distribute customer details or e-mail addresses to third parties. Marketing e-mails are only sent to consenting mailing list subscribers and your details can be removed at any time. The views and opinions of UDM LTD are not to be taken necessarily as fact. Any contract between us and you shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over the dispute. All dealings, correspondence and contracts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.

    Data Protection & Privacy : We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address & credit/debit card details. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
